Ergonomics is a compulsory basic course for environmental art design major. Its main research content is the question of “optimality” between the man-man-made environment and the environment in environmental art design. At present, the commonly used professional design performance techniques, such as hand-painted renderings, computer-aided mapping, model making, etc., are often too pursued in the application process of visual effects or drawings, gorgeous models, and often neglected ergonomic Professional fundamentals sometimes deviate from the design intentions of “people” and “functions” in program design with respect to “scale” and “comfort” due to the emphasis on brilliant drawing effects. This article explores the design techniques and application principles based on the basic knowledge of ergonomics, and presents the related design performance procedures for reference.
