初中英语是新课程改革之中的一门重要课程,是提升学生沟通交流能力、完善学生语言综合素质的关键学科。阅读是英语教学的重点内容之一,学生的阅读水平能够在相当程度上反映出自身的英语学习能力。本文对初中英语的教学现状进行了分析,并对利用阅读教学提高学生英语水平的原则进行了概述,最后提出了通过激发学生阅读兴趣来促进学生英语学习能力发展的策略。
Junior high school English is an important curriculum in the new curriculum reform, is to enhance students ’ability to communicate, improve the overall quality of students’ language of the key disciplines. Reading is one of the key contents of English teaching. Students’ reading ability can reflect their own English learning ability to a great extent. This article analyzes the present situation of junior high school English teaching and summarizes the principle of using reading teaching to improve students’ English level. Finally, it puts forward a strategy to promote students’ English learning ability by stimulating students’ reading interest.
