黄岛区人民法院成立于1979年1月,现有13个庭室,3处派出法庭,73名干警。其中大学本科以上学历的34人,占46.5%。建院以来,黄岛法院在青岛市经济技术开发区工委(黄岛区委)的领导下,在开发区人大和青岛市中级法院的监督、指导下,依靠管委(区政府)、区政协和社会各界的大力支持,坚持为党和国家工作大局服务的政治方向,突出审判工作这个重点,贯穿司法公正这条主线,狠抓队伍建设这个根本,发扬“团结拼搏、艰苦创业、加压奋进、争创一流”的开发区精神,克服案件逐年上升、审判工作日益繁重与审判力量不足的矛盾,忠实履行宪法和法律赋予的职责,通过审结大量的案件和开展卓有成效的工作,为维护开发区的政治和社会稳定,保障改革开放和促进经济发展,作出了应有的努力和贡献。1993年至1999年,共受理各类案件20504件,结案
