圆弧齿圆柱蜗杆传动是一种新型的传动,具有效率高、承载能力强、蜗轮齿根抗弯强度大的优点,因此采用这种传动越来越多了。由于工作蜗杆的轴向截形是与轴线有一定相对位置的凹圆弧,滚刀基本蜗杆螺旋面的轴向截形也是凹圆弧,加工这种滚刀的关键就是怎样加工出这圆弧。若滚刀的精度不是很高时,可以采用下面的方法来加工。这种方法极为简便,适合于一般工厂采用。其基本方法是先制造出具有螺旋槽的滚轮,螺旋槽的形状与滚刀基本蜗杆螺旋面相同,再用这滚轮的螺旋槽滚压砂轮,最后用滚压成形的砂轮铲磨滚刀。下面分别介绍加工直沟滚刀和螺旋沟滚刀的方法。
