【Abstract】Objective To observe the nursing effect and application value of modern nursing mode in perioperative hearing care of patients with secretory otitis media. Methods A total of 90 patients with secretory otitis media who were admitted to our hospital from 2017 to 2018 were randomly selected. All patients were selected for perioperative hearing care. The selected patients were divided into observation group and control group by random number table. In each of the 45 cases, modern care was taken for the observation group. The control group received routine care to compare the satisfaction of the two groups of patients with the care content and nursing results and the patient’s mental state. Results By comparing the nursing effects of the two groups of patients, the scores of the nursing content and nursing results of the observation group were higher than those of the control group. The SDS depression score of the observation group was also significantly lower than that of the control group. There were significant differences between the two groups. Statistical significance (P
