为分析岩土中的附加应力和实质应力,建立科学合理的强度准则和本构模型,根据土结构性形成的条件,给出适用于土的应力状态变量.在既有总应力和附加应力概念的基础上,给出了实质应力的概念.认为控制土强度和本构关系的应力变量不是所谓总应力和附加应力,而是实质应力.在此基础上,分析了三轴实验中的实质应力状态演变和基坑开挖过程中三种应力的变化过程,从而进一步印证了实质应力的合理性.
