犹如不同祖籍地华人华侨对家乡的眷恋与奉献,许多华侨华人、归侨侨眷和港澳台同胞对支持和参与首都建设发展,投入了更多的热情。他们的足迹逐步从沿海步入内地,他们关注的目光从侨乡投向了首都北京。他们在推动首都经济发展、社会管理、科技创新、对外交往、公益事业等方面发挥了重要而独特的作用。北京不是传统侨乡,可如今让越来越多的海外华侨华人在这里找到了自己的根、自己的故乡。
Much like the attachment and dedication of overseas Chinese in their homeland to their hometowns, many overseas Chinese, returned overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong, Maucao and Taiwan compatriots have devoted more enthusiasm to supporting and participating in the capital’s construction and development. Their footsteps gradually entered the Mainland from the coast and their eyes on overseas investment went to the capital Beijing. They have played an important and unique role in promoting the capital’s economic development, social management, scientific and technological innovation, foreign exchanges and public welfare. Beijing is not a traditional hometown of overseas Chinese. Nowadays, more and more overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese have found their roots here and their hometown.
