丹霞1号茶,是从广东粤北珍贵茶树资源仁化白毛茶群体中单株选育的高香型红茶和白茶兼用无性新品种。属小乔木,中叶种,具有高产、高香、优质等突出特点,抗逆性强、遗传性状稳定。在红山、英德、梅州三点3年平均每公顷年产一芽三叶初展标准鲜叶分别为5 071.5、5 223、4 980 kg,比英红九号对照种分别增产8.2%、6.2%和6.4%,比当地当家品种——仁化白毛群体对照种增产14.8%。其芽叶内含物丰富,适制高档名优红茶和白茶,产品花香毫韵突出,品质优异,经济价值高,市场应变能力强。品质鉴定结果表明,用丹霞1号茶树的单芽试制成高档白茶,外形挺直肥壮,白毫厚披,汤色杏黄明亮,滋味鲜醇回甜,叶底嫩匀,感官综合评分比白毛群体和福鼎大白茶分别高6.1分和3.3分;用其一芽一叶初展春季原料试制成高档红茶,外形紧结、金毫厚披,花香浓郁,滋味浓爽显玫瑰韵,汤色红亮,感官综合评分比白毛群体和英红九号分别高4.83分和3.1分。
