江西是我国中部地区的重要省份之一,与全国甚至与中部地区其他省比较都处于落后水平,经济发展的潜力很大。要充分发挥江西丰富的资源优势和承东启西、纵贯南北的区位优势,把江西建成沿海发达地区的“三个基地、一个后花园”。在今后五年内,人均国内生产总值在中部地区诸省位次前移并力争进入前列;到2010年,基本实现工业化;到2050年和全国一道实现现代化。要借鉴和创新江西经济发展思路,建立各具特色的中部地区经济发展模式。
Jiangxi, one of the important provinces in the central region of China, is at a backward level with the rest of the country even in other central provinces and has great potential for economic development. We should give full play to Jiangxi’s rich resources and advantages and make the east and the west, and take advantage of the geographical location of north and south. We will establish “three bases and one backyard garden” for Jiangxi in the developed coastal areas. In the next five years, the per capita GDP will move forward in every province in the central region and strive to enter the forefront. By 2010, industrialization will be basically achieved and by 2050 the country will be modernized together. We should draw lessons from and innovate the ideas of Jiangxi’s economic development and establish the distinctive mode of economic development in the central region.
