In the present study, early male Homo sapiens (20-30 years old) in the eastern Himalayas medium plateau (3100-4200m) were observed to assess their daily metabolic responses. In the plain area, the best interest (R) and 100 W subequal exercise (E) oxygen consumption (IVO) were 3.25 (SEMO.15) and 20.31 (SEMO.77) ml respectively.
