On December 19, 2011, the U.S. State Department did the east and held the first official dialogue meeting in the history of the United States, Japan and India. The dialogue will be co-chaired by Robert Black, Assistant Secretary of State for U.S. operations in South Asia and Central Asia, and Campbell, Assistant Secretary of State for Asia-Pacific Affairs. The main representative of Japan is General Tsuruoka Koji, director general of foreign affairs. India sent Jawed Ashraf, chief of operations for the Americas, and Gautam Bambawale, head of East Asia Affairs.
