4月17日至19日,中宣部在北京举办了全国省级党委机关报总编辑座谈会。来自全国各省、自治区、直辖市党委机关报的总编辑和北京晚报、新民晚报、天津今晚报、羊城晚报的总编辑参加了座谈会。中共中央政治局委员、书记处书记、中宣部部长丁关根到会看望了大家。中宣部副部长徐光春参加座谈会并做了《关于做好1996年新闻宣传工作的若干意见》的讲话。
From April 17 to April 19, the Central Propaganda Department held a forum for chief editors of provincial party committee organs in Beijing. The chief editors from the organs of Party committees in provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government and the chief editors of Beijing Evening Post, Xinmin Evening Post, Tianjin Evening Post and Yangcheng Evening Post attended the forum. Ding Guangen, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, secretary of the Secretariat and Minister of the Propaganda Department, came to see everyone. Xu Guangchun, vice minister of the Central Propaganda Department, attended the symposium and made a speech entitled “Several Opinions on Doing Well the Press and Publicity Work in 1996”.
