The authors have studied the composition of Sagittaria sagittifolia and clarified several new phenanthrene and dibenzopyran structures. This time the plant was further explored. In addition to the separation of a known glycocalyx, four new glycosides were isolated and the structure was determined. The ethyl acetate extract and n-butanol extract of Sagittaria sagittifolia were repeatedly separated using Diaion HP-20, LH-20, and silica gel column chromatography. Compounds 1 to 5 were obtained. According to fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry (FAB-MS), compound 1 was cleaved, and by 1 H-NMR spectroscopic analysis, compound 1 was considered to be two benzopyran-symmetrically bound glycosides.
