Objective: To analyze the value of homocysteine (Hcy) and lipids in patients with coronary heart disease at different ages so as to predict the occurrence of coronary heart disease in the early stage. Methods: A total of 150 patients with coronary heart disease were selected, aged from 28 to 85 years (mean, 55.8 ± 6.5) years. Venous blood was collected 12h after fasting, and blood lipid and Hcy were measured. The results of TC, TG, HDL-c, LDL-c and Hcy were recorded. At the same time, 150 patients with negative coronary angiography were selected as the control group, aged from 30 to 78 years, with an average of (53 ± 6.5) years. Compare the differences of relevant parameters in each group. Results: The prevalence of TC, TG, LDL-c and Hcy in the sick group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The older the patients were, the higher the Hcy and the lipids were. The levels of TC, TG, HDL-c, LDL-c and Hcy in group A were lower than those in group C, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The levels of TC, TG, HDL-c, LDL-c and Hcy in group C were significantly higher than those in group C (P <0.05), while the values of Hcy in group A and group B were higher than those in group C Group A and group B, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion: Hcy and blood lipids are closely related to the occurrence of coronary heart disease. The higher the prevalence of disease, the higher the Hcy and blood lipids, and have a unique predictive value for patients over 45 years of age with coronary heart disease.
