目的探讨珍珠母的镇静催眠作用及其不同炮制品对小鼠5-羟色胺(5-HT)浓度的影响。方法腹腔注射PCPA,观察其对小鼠的催眠作用;ELISA法测定小鼠脑干匀浆液中5-HT的浓度。结果珍珠母的生品、烘烤品和超微粉品均能减少小鼠自主活动的次数,延长小鼠睡眠的时间,能够增加小鼠脑干内5-HT浓度,其中超微粉作用最强。结论珍珠母具有镇静、催眠作用,其作用机制与增加小鼠脑干内5-HT浓度有关。
Objective To investigate the sedative and hypnotic effects of nacre and the effects of different processed products on the concentration of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) in mice. Methods Intraperitoneal injection of PCPA was used to observe its hypnotic effect on mice. The concentration of 5-HT in mouse brainstem homogenate was measured by ELISA. Results Nacre of raw, baked goods and superfine powder products can reduce the frequency of spontaneous activity in mice and prolong the sleep time of mice, which can increase the concentration of 5-HT in mouse brainstem, with the strongest effect of superfine powder. Conclusion Mother of pearl has sedative and hypnotic effects, and its mechanism of action is related to the increase of 5-HT concentration in mouse brain stem.
