这是青年战士赖金良在中国科学院不久前召开的纪念恩格斯《劳动在从猿到人转变过程中的作用》写作一百周年报告会上的发言。赖金良同志是文化大革命中成长起来的新人。他在家乡只上过中学,对于人类学的知识懂得不多,在某些资产阶级权威看来,可能连参加这样一场讨论的资格,都要打个问号。可是,赖金良同志毫不顾及这一切。他斗志昂扬,刻苦钻研马列著作和毛主席著作,并认真阅读有关人类学的资料,自觉地用马列主义观点研究和分析问题,写出了这样一篇很有战斗性的文章。实践是检验真理的标准,而“真理是由争论确立的”(马克思给恩格斯的信,1853年9月2日),要在人类起源问题上取得较为正确的认识,是需要作一番艰苦努力的,不是一次就能完成的。本刊自开辟关于从猿到人过渡阶段的专题讨论以来,已收到工农兵、学生、教师等各方面的来稿近200篇。我们热烈欢迎广大读者和古人类学专业工作者遵照毛主席关于“百花齐放,百家争鸣”的教导,就这一问题继续展开深入讨论,以期更好地学习和领会辩证唯物论和历史唯物论,用以指导我们的研究工作,指导我们的学习和斗争。
This is a speech by the young warrior Lai Jinliang at the Chinese Academy of Sciences’s recent centennial report commemorating Engels’s writing on the role of labor in the transformation from apes to humans.
