To date, there has been a lack of evidence-based medical guidance for the frequency of field-of-view changes that have clinical implications for glaucoma. Recently, researchers at the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science at Dalhousie University in Canada recommended a practical method of detecting changes in the field of vision of glaucoma. This method emphasizes the appropriate statistical methods to derive the mean time between inspection (MD) changes and the number of examinations. At the same time, researchers also introduced other aspects of the type of inspection, strategy and quality of inspection in the recommended method.
