2014年初秋,我来到纽约访学。从抵美到来年春节结束访问学者的学习,不到四个月的时间里我在纽约大都会歌剧院(Metropolitan Opera)看了大约十五部歌剧(有的戏看了两遍)。当大都会歌剧院的大幕徐徐拉开时,黑暗中的我内心的激动难以自抑,这激动中包含各种感受:有作为观众的期许、好奇和享受;也有作为从业人员的冷静、客观和伺机寻找破绽的小心眼;更有一个外来文化观察者的对比和思索。大都会歌剧院的影响力在今日世界
Early autumn 2014, I came to New York to study. From the arrival of the United States in the coming Spring Festival to the conclusion of the visiting scholar’s study, in less than four months I have seen about 15 operas at the Metropolitan Opera in New York (some have watched it twice).
