“廉、谦、劳”是曾国藩廉政思想的核心。这一思想也体现了儒家从修身到治国的致思路向。虽然从其目标上来看,曾国藩的廉政思想和实践是为了维护封建统治以及使曾氏家族“特盈保泰”、长盛不衰,但对于整顿晚清吏治腐败,抑制奢靡风气仍有积极影响。同时,对于我们深入理解廉政的内涵,强化廉政的制度建设和思想教育,都不无参考价值。
“Lian, modest, labor ” is the core of Zeng Guofan’s thought of clean government. This thought also reflects the Confucianism from self-cultivation to rule of thought. Although from his goal, Zeng Guofan’s thought and practice of honest government is to maintain the feudal rule and make the Zeng’s family “extraordinary”, but it is still not bad for rectifying the corruption in late Qing officials and restraining extravagance positive influence. At the same time, there is no reference value for us to thoroughly understand the meaning of an honest and clean government and to strengthen the system construction and ideological education of honest and clean government.
