骨骼肌细胞一般细而长,所以又称肌纤维。它为圆柱形,表面有肌膜。肌纤维内有多个卵圆形的细胞核,一般位于肌纤维的边缘,靠近肌膜。骨骼肌纤维的细胞质也称肌浆,含有丰富的肌原纤维及大量线粒体、糖原、脂滴等。早在1678年,Laranzini就报道兔骨骼肌有些较红,有些较白,并发现肌的色泽与运动能力有关。到1833年Ranvier用电刺激法证明,红肌收缩慢而持久,白肌收缩快而不持久,并提出将骨骼肌纤维划分为“红肌”和“白肌”两种类型。1855年Ehrlich第
Skeletal muscle cells generally thin and long, so also known as muscle fibers. It is cylindrical, the surface of the sarcolemma. Muscle fiber has multiple oval nuclei, usually located in the edge of muscle fibers, close to the sarcolemma. Skeletal muscle cytoplasm, also known as sarcoplasm, is rich in myofibrils and a large number of mitochondria, glycogen, lipid droplets and so on.
