Desert, dry, hot, dead like death. However, under the hot surface, or in shadows that you cannot easily see, another world flourishes. Thousands of species of desert animals thrive here, as well as a variety of plants that survive tenaciously. For all desert organisms, the lack of water resources is undoubtedly the greatest threat. Compared to plants, desert animals have an additional crisis of survival—extremely hot temperatures. The unobstructed solar radiation is removed, and the ground radiation (heat radiation emitted by the rocks and the soil absorbs the heat of the solar radiation) continuously warms the surrounding air and disturbs the animals.
