N- [1- (4,4-dimethyl-2,6-dioxetanylhexylidene-1) ethyl] aliphatic amino acids such as I are produced via dimethylacetoacetylation; 4-dimethyl-2,6-dioxane cyclohexylidene-1) acetic acid with a fatty amino acid to give the title compound.
