ECG is an easy to record and noninvasive understanding of the circulatory function is quite important test methods, but also athletes must be physical examination. Although there have been many reports since Hoogerwerf (1929) on the electrocardiogram report of the Olympic athletes in Amsterdam, they are similar to what they saw. However, there is no unified opinion on the discussion of various mechanisms. In terms of their meaning, it is even more necessary to conduct discussions in the long term. Here, the author of the 1972 Munich Olympics and 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games Japan athletes electrocardiogram prognosis survey as a research focus on the characteristics of athletes ECG, its significance and related issues are described.
