当代隐喻理论认为,隐喻不仅是一种修辞手段,更是一种思维方式和认知手段。文学作品中存在着大量的隐喻,不仅因其修辞功能,更是因其认知功能。《冰与火之歌》作为当代奇幻文学的翘楚,采用了大量的隐喻来表明现实,升华主题。本文旨在从认知语言学视角出发,通过对天气的隐喻研究来对作品进行更好的解读。
Contemporary metaphor theory that metaphor is not only a rhetorical device, but also a way of thinking and cognitive means. There are a lot of metaphors in literary works, not only because of their rhetorical function, but also because of their cognitive function. As the leader of contemporary fantasy literature, Song of Ice and Fire adopts a large number of metaphors to show the reality and sublimate theme. The purpose of this paper is to interpret the works better from the perspective of cognitive linguistics through the metaphorical study of the weather.
