医学英语教师匮乏严重制约了我国医学英语教育的发展,大学公共英语教师向医学英语转型是充实医学英语师资队伍切实有效的途径。这个转型过程受三个因素影响:一是教师对医学英语教学存在认识上的误区,二是教师在转型过程中缺乏引导和帮助,三是医学英语教学要求教师具备一定的医学知识。本文通过分析这些阻碍的成因和影响,提出应对策略:在实践中改善并加深对医学英语教学的认识;研究并应用专门用途英语(ESP)理论指导教学;以正确积极的态度面对新知识,逐步完善自身知识结构。
The shortage of medical English teachers has severely restricted the development of medical English education in our country. The transition from a university public English teacher to medical English is a practical and effective way to enrich the teaching staff of medical English. This transitional process is influenced by three factors: First, teachers misunderstand the existence of medical English teaching. Second, teachers lack guidance and assistance in the process of transformation. Third, medical English teaching requires teachers to have certain medical knowledge. By analyzing the causes and effects of these obstacles, this paper proposes countermeasures: to improve and deepen the understanding of medical English teaching in practice; to study and apply ESP; to deal with new knowledge with correct and positive attitude, Gradually improve their own knowledge structure.
