Objective To understand the growth and decline of host animal and vector organism in Tengchong from 2011 to 2015 and provide a scientific basis for the prevention and control of plague in Tengchong City. Methods From 2011 to 2015, small mammals were captured by cloth-cage method and 5-m cloth-clip method. The collected fleas were used to classify and identify captured host animals and vector organisms. Yersinia pestis (Yersinia pestis) , Detecting the serum F1 antibody; calculating the density of the rat, flea infection rate and flea index, etc., and conducting statistical analysis. Results A total of 2 506 small beasts were captured, belonging to 22 genera of 15 genera and 6 orders (subfamilies) of 3 orders. Rattus flavipectus was the dominant species, accounting for 49.20% of the total (1 233/2 506) There were 666 horses belonging to 15 genera in 15 subfamilies and the total flea index was 0.27 (666/2 506). The flea fleas were 37.09% (247/666) and 19.22 % (128/666). The average indoor and outdoor mouse densities were 0.63% (235/37 080) and 2.15% (790/36 690), respectively. (P <0.05, P <0.05). The dominant flea species captured by the two methods were statistically significant (χ ~ 2 = 28.470, P <0.05) ; Laboratory test serum 702 parts, Y. pestis culture: small animal 2 506, flea 682 group, were negative. Conclusion Tengchong City is a plague origin foe house rat plague in a relatively stable period, should be mainly indoor monitoring, taking into account the outdoors, improve the quality of monitoring to prevent the outbreak of plague again.
