过磷酸钙是主要磷肥品种之一,是由磷矿粉和硫酸反应后堆闷发酵而成,为略带酸味的灰白色粉末。按部颁标准,过磷酸钙有效磷(P_2O_5)含量不低于12％,游离酸不超过5.5％,含水量应低于15％。但是,有些厂家生产过磷酸钙的原料含磷量低或者生产技术不高,产品含磷量不到10％,低者不足5％,有的含酸或氯乙醛过多,不仅肥效低,而且污染土壤、毒害作物。那么,怎样鉴别过磷酸钙的质量好坏呢?
