2月1日,湖北省第十二届人民代表大会第四次会议高票通过《湖北省土壤污染防治条例》,将于2016年10月1日起施行。当前,我国还没有土壤环境保护的专门立法,关于保护土壤环境的规定散见于环境保护法等法律中。该《条例》分为总则、土壤污染防治的监督管理、土壤污染的预防、土壤污染的治理、特定用途土壤的环境保护、信息公开与社会参与、法律责任、附则,共8章65条。
