Objective To investigate the clinical relationship between acute cerebrovascular disease and hyperglycemia. Methods From 2013 to 2014, a total of 100 patients with acute cerebrovascular diseases were admitted to our hospital. These patients were divided into hyperglycemia group and normal blood glucose group, 50 cases each. The clinical indexes and mortality of the two groups were compared. Results A total of 47 patients with normal blood glucose survived, 3 died and the mortality rate was 6%. A total of 39 patients survived in hyperglycemia group and 11 died. The mortality rate was 22%. There was significant difference in mortality rate between the two groups <0.05. Conclusion The condition of hyperglycemia patients is more serious than that of normal blood glucose patients, which indicates that hyperglycemia is one of the important factors affecting the pathogenesis of acute cerebrovascular diseases.
