葛洲坝水力枢纽一期工程所需砂石骨科的料源和采集方法有二:一是从距工区约二十公里、小溪塔附近的黄柏河滩上用 WB—4/40型索铲挖取堆放,然后用正铲装入准轨自卸车箱,运往筛分楼筛洗;二是用链斗式采砂船从长江底挖取,装入自卸砂驳,由拖轮拖至砂石料码头,经输砂趸船送至岸上的胶带输送机,传送至筛分楼筛洗。后者为主要手段,一期工程所需砂石骨料和回填用料的绝大部分靠采砂船采集。工程初期由丹江口工地调来的八艘120米~3/时链斗式采砂船承担采挖任务,远远不能
