Industry watchers estimate that in the years since the policy reform, 60% of pharmacies in Germany will be classified as chains. Since the proclamation of the Salerno Act in 1241 by Frederick II of Hohenstaugers Dynasty, the first law on the separation of pharmacists and physicians has created a wind of reform in the German market .
