目前,世界非金属矿产品广泛应用于冶金、化工、机械、建材、电子、航天、国防、节能新材料、农牧业等各个领域中。在国民经济建设中非金属矿产资源的开发利用占有举足轻重的地位,特别是发达工业国家,非金属矿产产品年产值普遍超过金属矿产品。我国非金属矿开发利用现状还比较落后,且多处于初级矿产品的加工和原材料为主的输出。就80年代末的统计,我国与美国比较,人均年消费非金属矿产品量的差距较大。
At present, the world’s non-metallic mineral products are widely used in metallurgy, chemicals, machinery, building materials, electronics, aerospace, defense, energy-saving new materials, agriculture and animal husbandry and other fields. In the national economy, non-metallic mineral resources development and utilization occupy a pivotal position, especially in developed industrial countries, non-metallic mineral products generally exceed the annual output of metal minerals. China’s non-metallic mineral development and utilization of the status quo is still relatively backward, and more in primary minerals processing and raw materials-based output. According to the statistics of the late 1980s, the gap between the consumption of non-metallic mineral products per capita per year in our country is greater than that in the United States.
