由美国华裔女作家谭恩美的小说改编的电影《喜福会》讲述了四对母女从开始由于文化差异、民族身份等原因引起误解和冲突到最后互相理解的故事,探究了华裔女性如何重构自己双重文化身份的问题。本文分析了《喜福会》在塑造华人形象时渗透出的媒介偏见及其产生原因,以及《喜福会》对建构华人形象的双面影响。
The film, The Joy Luck Club, adapted from a novel by American American writer Amy Tan tells the story of four pairs of mother and daughter from the beginning due to cultural differences, ethnic identity and other causes of misunderstanding and conflict to the final mutual understanding of the story, exploring how Chinese women Constitute their own dual cultural identity issues. This article analyzes the media bias permeated by the “Joy Luck Club” in shaping the Chinese image and its causes as well as the double influence of the “Joy Luck Club” on the construction of the Chinese image.
