代际流动性是经济增长的重要因素.本文通过构建一般均衡理论模型考察了融资约束对代际流动性的影响.研究发现,融资约束降低了代际流动性.家庭面临的融资约束越强,投入的教育时间越少,人力资本的形成越低,从而导致了较低的代际流动性.在理论模型基础上,本文进一步运用中国综合社会调查(CGSS)数据,以子女18岁时家庭一些特征来衡量融资约束,基于代际教育相关系数和代际收入弹性系数两个层面的估计,考察了融资约束对代际流动性的影响.估计发现,融资约束确实提高了代际收入弹性系数和代际教育相关系数,降低了代际流动性,且这一结论是稳健的.
