英语报刊不仅是信息传播媒体,更是英语教学宝贵的教学资源。以促进英语教学和提高高校人才培养水平为目的,探讨报刊教学具有的多重优势,并从培养语言综合应用能力、国际化视野、批判性思维及媒介素养等方面阐明其对人才培养的重要意义和潜在价值。得出将外刊引入英语教学中,确立其重要地位,可以更好地满足当今全球化社会对国际化、高素质人才培养要求的结论。
English newspapers and magazines are not only information media, but also valuable teaching resources for English teaching.
