批评语言学中提到的意识形态使语言研究再次聚焦在语言的结构和形式上,意识形态直接显现或潜藏在语言的形式里。在挖掘语篇或话语中的意识形态时,情态成为发话人或作者意识形态的指示器。对George Eliot的小说《弗洛斯河上的磨坊》中的语篇进行分析,能成功揭示出人物潜藏的意识形态,同时证明了用语言学中的情态系统和批评话语分析中的意识形态概念去分析文学作品是行之有效的。
The ideologies mentioned in critical linguistics have once again focused linguistic research on the structure and form of language, which is either directly apparent or latent in linguistic forms. When tapping the ideology in discourse or discourse, modality becomes the indicator of the speaker’s or author’s ideology. An analysis of the discourse in George Eliot’s novel The Milky Way on the Floss River reveals the hidden ideologies of the characters and at the same time demonstrates the use of modalities in linguistics and the notion of ideology in critical discourse analysis Literary works are effective.
