Since the last century, China and India started their economic restructuring, the two countries have made great changes in the strategy of foreign economic relations with some similarities, but there are also obvious differences. Generally speaking, Both countries have shifted from import substitution to export-oriented strategies, attaching importance to their own comparative advantages. However, India’s opening up to the outside world is obviously not as good as that of China. Both countries emphasize the principle of opening to the outside world on the basis of self-reliance, but China places greater emphasis on opening up to the outside world while India places greater emphasis on the development of national enterprises. In addition, China emphasizes the level of opening up to the outside world in pilot areas such as special economic zones Open more than India achieved greater results.
