1988年8月,在华南理工大学云集着英、美、日等十五个工业发达国家的科学工作者,参加国际强化传热与节能学术讨论会。会议是由我国著名强化传热专家,华南理工大学化学工程研究所所长邓颂九教授主持。会上宣读的130多篇论文中,就有15篇是邓教授领导的化工所的成果。这些论文受到了与会专家学者的一致好评,为我国的科学事业作出了贡献,也为国家争得了荣誉。美国半球公司还正式出版了邓教授主编的会议论文集。
August 1988, at South China University of Technology gathered in Britain, the United States, Japan and other 15 industrialized countries scientists to participate in the International Symposium on heat transfer and energy conservation. The conference was presided over by Professor Deng Songjiu, a famous heat transfer enhancement expert in China and a director of the Institute of Chemical Engineering at South China University of Technology. Among the 130 papers read out at the conference, 15 were the achievements of the chemical institute led by Professor Deng. These papers have been well received by experts and scholars attending the conference, contributing to the cause of science in our country and gaining honor for the country. The American Hemisphere Company also formally published a conference proceedings edited by Professor Deng.
