元胡为罂粟科多年生草本植物,又名玄胡、延胡索。以地下块茎入药,是著名的“浙八味”之一。分布在东阳、磐安、缙云、永康等地。具有活血散瘀、利气止痛之功效。东阳、磐安两县(简称两县或原东阳县)是全国元胡之乡、质量亦居全国之首,其主要成份玄胡索生物硷含量最高。为此,探讨一下元胡生产与气象条件关系,具有一定现实意义。
