本文报道利用紫外交联法来测定一种受雄激素调控的未知的DNA结合蛋白C3P4的亚基组成及分子量。紫外交联分析结果表明C3P4可能具有分子量约为110kD和27kD的两种亚基。对C3P4进行Ferguson作图分析,揭示了C3P4天然分子量约为127kD。这表明C3P4很可能是由分子量约为110kD和27kD的两个亚基组成的异二聚体,其中110kD在结合DNA时起主要作用。
This paper reports the determination of the subunit composition and molecular weight of an androgen-regulated unknown DNA-binding protein C3P4 by UV-crosslinking. UV cross-linking analysis showed that C3P4 may have two subunits with molecular weights of about 110kD and 27kD. Ferguson mapping analysis of C3P4 revealed that C3P4 had a native molecular weight of about 127 kD. This suggests that C3P4 is likely to be a heterodimer composed of two subunits with molecular weights of about 110 kD and 27 kD, of which 110 kD plays a major role in DNA binding.
