世界卫生组织认为:“健康”不仅包含着躯体健康,还包含着心理健康、良好的社会适应能力和道德健康。其中心理健康对人生成就的重要性已经被人们所认识。判断心理是否健康的一般原则是心理与环境的同一性,心理与行为的整体性,人格的稳定性。而心理健康至少要包括两层含义:其一是没有心理疾病,其二是指具有一种积极适应与发展的心理状态,而体育是促进健康的重要内容,因此体育活动对促进人的心理健康也就具有积极的影响。
