栓皮栎是重要的用材、经济树种.其木材致密,材质坚硬,纹理通直;栓皮可制软木,具有比重小、浮力大、弹性好、不透水、不透气、耐酸、耐碱及对热、声、电绝缘等特性,是重要的工业原料;栓皮栎根系特别发达,适应性强,能改良土壤,树皮不易燃烧,也是营造水土涵养林和防火林带的优良树种,我省气候温和,比较适合栓皮栎的生长,为了进一步保护和利用我省栓皮栎林资源,笔者对盱眙县水冲港林场的栓皮栎林进行了调查,现将结果报告如下:
