2016年10月29至30日,鲁迅美术学院在沈阳校区举办“77、78级毕业35周年纪念同学会”.包括开幕庆典、展览、研讨会、参观等系列活动,来自全国各地以及海外的近百余名毕业生返回母校。当年执教的部分老艺术家和社会各界人士应邀出席。29日上午,在鲁迅美术学院美术馆举行(《鲁迅美术学院77、78级毕业35周年作品暨1980-1990年师生作品文献展》开幕式,鲁迅美术学院名誉院长宋惠民和鲁迅美术学院党委书记刘晓华分别致辞.原常务副院长田奎玉代表教师致辞,鲁迅美术学院院长韦尔申作为77、78级学生代表致辞。展出一千余件师生作品文献和两百余件77、78级近年来创作的作品,既回顾过去,也向母校和老师汇报。下午举行以“鲁艺精神与时代发展”为主题的学术研讨会。会后,学院领导为到会的全体毕业生颁发2016年鲁迅美术学院新校徽。30日,参观正在建设中的鲁迅美术学院浑南新校区。此次活动获得了圆满成功。它再次唤醒一代代鲁美人秉承鲁艺传统,铭记“紧张、严肃、刻苦、虚心”的校训,将鲁艺精神发扬光大。作为承上启下的一代人,77、78级对鲁美乃至整个中国美术界产生了深远的影响。此次活动由鲁迅美术学院环境艺术设计系负责承办。
