Spatial structure largely reflects the niche of plant individuals in the community and also determines the amount of environmental resources they possess. It is very important to maintain community stability, analyze interspecific competition and individual survival. In order to explore the spatial structure of the natural community of Syzygium hancei Merr.et Perry, a 65 m × 40 m plot of wood permutation was established in the coastal transitional zone of Fangchenggang, Guangxi. Distribution analysis of the community as a whole and different sizes of trees spatial structure characteristics. The results showed that both the population and the biomass of R. sibirica had an absolute advantage in the slightly disturbed R. solanacearum community. Both the community and its large tree, small tree and most of the individuals were at random Distribution and low-level mixed state, while those belonging to high-level mixed or very regular or aggregated distribution have fewer trees. Trees with different advantages in the community have similar mixed status and distribution pattern. A few are moderate or inferior woods; almost all of them belong to the disadvantaged individuals with low levels of mixed sex, and they are in a state of random distribution and disadvantage almost simultaneously. These characteristics indicate that the structure of Sophora japonica is complex and may be at a stable level. The results can provide a scientific basis for the protection and restoration of Betula pendula community and provide a reference for the construction of shelterbelts in the coastal area.
