Objective To understand the impact of productive noise on workers’ hearing loss. Methods The workers in a long-term coal mine exposed to productive noise were tested for pure tone hearing and the hearing loss was analyzed. Results In the pure tone threshold test of 1 137 noise workers, 919 cases of high frequency hearing loss were detected, the detection rate was 80.83%. The detection rate of high-frequency hearing loss in workers who were less than 5 years, 5 years, 10 years and 15 years were 59.02%, 76.39%, 90.57% and 94.96%, respectively, which increased with the increase of working age (P < 0.05). 115 cases were diagnosed with occupational noise and deafness, the detection rate was 10.11%, the occupational age was less than 5 years, the detection rate of occupational noise deafness was 7.64%, 7.34% in 5 ~ year, 10 ~ year and 15 ~ 10.57% and 21.58%, respectively, but also increased with the increase of seniority (P <0.05). Conclusion Productive noise has a greater impact on the hearing loss of workers, and individual protection should be strengthened.
