白石窑水电厂位于广东北江干流,以发电为主,兼有防洪、航运、养殖及改善生态环境等综合效益的水利枢纽工程。水电厂建筑物主要由左、右岸土坝、船闸、22孔泄水闸、发电厂房、变电站、办公大楼组成。水电厂装有4台灯泡贯流式水轮发电机组,设计水头为7.8m,单机出力18MW,总装机容量为72MW,多年平均发电量为2.915亿kW·h。1999年2月24日4号机组并网发电投入商业运行,全厂4台装机全面投产。电厂几年来发电连获丰收,见表1。2002年1月1日至12月10日累计发电达2.94亿kW·h,根据目前北江流量,2002
Baishiyao Hydropower Plant is located in the main stream of Beijiang River in Guangdong Province and mainly produces electricity. It is also a water conservancy project that integrates flood control, shipping, aquaculture and ecological improvement.
