莲塘一中位于鄱阳湖畔、鱼米之乡的南昌县城莲塘镇的南端,东临南井公路,西傍赣抚灌渠,北邻县广播电视台。学校创办于1956年。初名为“南昌县第二初级中学”,是南昌县最早的农村中学之一,1979年恢复完全中学,正式命名为“南昌县莲塘第一中学”,1980年定为省重点中学,现有36个教学班,教职工210名,学生2700余名。校园占地面积105亩,拥有宽敞明亮,数量充足的理、化、生实验室和教学仪器储藏室,建有高标准现代化的语音实验室、微机室、电教室和闭路电视。今年又新建了1300M~2的五层图书馆大楼和功能齐全的综合大楼并肩而立,更为优美的校园环境增添了几分雄姿。校园配套建设规范合理,教学区、运
One in Liantang Poyang Lake, Yumizhixiang Nanchang County Town, the southern end of the town, east of Nanyijing Road, near the Jiangxi Fu irrigation canal, north of the county radio and television stations. The school was founded in 1956. It was named “Nanchang Second Junior High School”. It was one of the earliest rural middle schools in Nanchang County. It was renamed as “Nanchang Liantang No.1 Middle School” in 1979 and was renamed as a provincial key middle school in 1979. The existing middle school 36 classes, 210 faculty members, more than 2,700 students.
