运用Langacker(1999,2008)的后置语观察思路,对后置“的”字短语与其中心语在真实话段中的概念组合表现进行认知分析,发现后置用法并非前置的语序变换,短语后置时对中心语的依存性减弱,主要表现为独立小句,担当主题中心语的评述功能;句尾“的”字作为关联标记在话语交际层面发挥主题关涉作用;主观评述性增加是该语序所特有的表意功能;所拥有的4类主题接续表现及其英语对应语的表达倾向可提供佐证。
