鄂温克族在长期的生产生活、宗教祭祀及军事征战等实践中逐渐形成了别具地域特色的民族传统体育文化,依类别可分为竞技类、游戏类、棋牌类几种类型;随着现代化进程的不断加快,鄂温克族传统体育文化正处于濒危消亡状态,究其原因与传承发展的社会土壤渐次消失、传承主体出现断层及当地政府保护力度不够等有关;基于传统体育文化传承保护的现状,应采取加大资金投入力度、加快传承队伍建设及营造良好的社会氛围等步骤措施,使保护传承鄂温克族传统体育文化真正步入可持续发展轨道。
