为研究液化天然气(LNG)作为通用飞机航空燃料的可行性,对LNG的特点、发展趋势及作为航空燃料存在的问题进行了分析。采用了横向比较的方法,将LNG与航空汽油进行了比较和计算分析,并设计了一种以LNG为燃料的通用飞机动力系统。结果表明,在燃料特性上与航空汽油相比,LNG具有密度低、热值高、低温储存气态使用及可燃极限宽和燃烧污染物排放低等优点;在经济性上,LNG的燃料成本仅为航空汽油的一半,是一种极富潜力的航空燃料。所提出的通用飞机动力系统在技术上是可行的,同时具有环保性和经济性优势,可以成为未来通用飞机的一种动力及燃料供应系统。
In order to study the feasibility of liquefied natural gas (LNG) as a common aircraft jet fuel, the characteristics of LNG, its development trend and problems as aviation fuel were analyzed. A transverse comparison method was used to compare and calculate LNG with aviation gasoline and design a general aircraft power system using LNG as fuel. The results show that LNG possesses the advantages of low density, high calorific value, low gas storage and low flammable limit, and low emissions of combustion pollutants compared with aviation gasoline. In terms of economy, the fuel cost of LNG is only Half of aviation fuel, is a highly potential aviation fuel. The proposed general aircraft powertrain is technically feasible with environmental and economic advantages that make it a power and fuel supply system for future general purpose aircraft.
